Top of that I found a better solution one for wireless charging. Cleaner lookWas a two day late arriving other then that product was delivered nicely packaged no damages whatsoever. Installation was a breeze. Connected adapter to my rear cigarette plug (plug & play) instead of running it tru the front like how they instructed. Much cleaner and faster. Charges right up with a case on I’ve got iPhone 12max pro also charges my air pods. WILL UPDATE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS SO FAR ITS AWESOME!! Five stars 🌟

I got this in October, installed in late November thanks to work. It worked fit was great looked nice but it didn't do a fast charge but it indicated it was charging and the phone wouldn't really get much of a charge. Getting the phone in the right spot to charge was difficult and it would break the charge connection and the phone would get really hot. I figured it was my phone protective case so I mainly just used my USB cord for my phone because that's how the my maps work in the truck. So last week I had someone with me who tried using it while we were on a road trip. This was the 1st real usage of the charger. When she used the charging pad and her phone and the pad got so hot the phone shutdown and the pad was to hot to touch.Now when I put any phone on it it indicates that its charging on the phone for like 10seconds then its like the connection gets broken and then reconnected, and it continues over and over it doesn't really charge and the phone gets hot. So obviously it doesn't really work right. Unfortunately I am 8 months past the return period and feel I wasted my money as this was supposed to be the universal charger anyone riding with me could use and didn't have to plug into my truck.

So pleased with this wireless charger for my 2021 Silverado with front jump seat console. Install was a bit tricky as there are zero install instructions. After some help from Google I got it installed to the factory back seat 12v plug connection. It also comes with an extension wire to run under carpets under dash to front 12v connection. Wires are hidden and it’s like a pro install. 100% pleased with my purchase. Install was about an hour.

It work at first. Then the charging light stopped indicating the phone was charging. Now the charging has slowed to a trickle. While it still charges, it will not keep up if you are using the phone for multiple activities like maps, streaming audio and phone calls. I do not recommend. Btw, this all happened within 10 days.

More or Less Junk. Don't buy it unless you want to buy a new one every 6-12 months. I have now purchased 2 and both have failed before 1 year of use. The wireless charge first becomes finicky with the phone having to be in the perfect spot for it to charge, then the light that tells you the phone is charging gets a mind of its own and becomes extremely distracting and annoying. I'm looking for a different version to purchase that isn't complete junk like this one.

This upgrade was a perfect fit for my Silverado however that's where the good news ends!First and foremost this charger gets so hot that the phone will stop charging due to overheating, and this happens in about 20 minutes.Scared to use it for very long.Also while an Iphone works well with this unit, my Samsung S21 has to be slid back a little to align the charging coils which requires raising it up a little in the back and, of course, it won't stay put while driving!

Easy to install .does what it says. I actually connected it via the rear USB port and lighter way easier than running it all the way up front.
