My physical therapist actually looked this up on Amazon and printed it out for me to buy. I had surgery for frozen shoulder, a condition I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. This involves a lot of exercises that while unpleasant, do help me regain range of motion. This is quite similar to the pulley at the PT's office. It hooks up easily to a doorway and doesn't require any special equipment so is easy for the average user. I can't comment on other pulleys, but I do think that since my physical therapist recommended this model, it must be good.

The handles are vertical, which match my exercises much better than the wooden horizontal ones. And the various cinches make customizing length and limits easy! The pulley is a bit noisy, but that means I’m not applying even weighting. All in all, my best PT tool.

Great product for the money, I use it daily while doing rehab exercises for my shoulder.

The media could not be loaded. The image on the ad shows a carabiner as the connection between the door bracket and the crappy pully. Mine is not a carabiner, it is a cheap split ring... Very low quality.The pully is squeaky, right out of the box. The rolling action is not smooth at all! It is "grindy!" The metal on metal hub/pully joint is jerky and "catchy." It makes shoulder rehab an absolute misery...Rehab equipment should be good quality. The action should be smooth and effortless. This pulley is NONE of that. It is really terrible. I am so disappointed.The handles are OK.I would NOT recommend this terrible product.
