Works as described... it's exactly what I needed.
I have a Fire TV but the remote for it would also turn on the LED lights in my living room any time I turned the TV on. Very annoying stuff. So, I sought to fix this issue with a remote for the TV that didn't rely on whatever radio frequencies normal remote controls transmit. I figured one that connects via wireless USB would do the trick and it did just that. This is much much better than the standard Fire TV controller anyway... the keyboard alone is a godsend. The mouse function would be nice but my Toshiba Fire TV doesn't seem to care about mouse clicks... that's okay because the direction pad works fine. If my Toshiba TV could use the mouse function, that would've been great... it works fine on the manufacturer end of things.People have a gripe that you can't turn the TV off with this remote. That is correct but I am okay with that.... I just rely on the build-in timer for the TV. If I go to the home page of the TV, it will turn off after 5 minutes from inactivity. That's basically a built-in off button right there... I don't need an immediate "off". Plus... I can turn the TV on very easily just by pressing the home button on the keypad. All in all, yes... it would be nice to turn off the TV, and the mouse pad only works with select TVs that can use it (I didn't think to research that before buying)... but all in all this is a 5 star product. For what it's capabilities are... it works very well so far. The controller itself feels like a high quality plastic. The buttons are soft and feel good to press. It makes it quicker to search for shows/movies, which is a time saver in itself. If you need it... buy it... and just accept that your TV will turn off according to your inactivity timer. Great product at a great price.

Raspberry Pi 3 B+ Wireless Keyboard works great!
The media could not be loaded. Decided to give this a try for a small 7" touchscreen OSMC/Kodi build on a Pi 3 B+. While the device does have a 7" touchscreen, good luck trying to deal with bash while not having a keyboard handy. After receiving this keyboard, I have a feeling once it's installed it'll be used more often than the touchscreen, which is an pleasant surprise.I saw this item, the reviews and the price without reading much. I pulled the trigger anyhow.Once received, I was delighted to find that it has a rechargeable battery, and a wireless dongle. I was about to start googling for drivers, github and setup when I plugged in the small dongle and found it worked right out of the box. Very impressive! Even the media controls worked with Kodi and there was no raspi-config, localization configuration or anything else. It just worked.I figured I would top it off on a charger before spending anymore time with it, and that was another surprise. It needed about 5-10 minutes of charging as the battery was already good to go!I read another review here before posting this review regarding the device not working with keyboard shortcuts in terminal. That makes sense, as CTRL+X'ing out of something would be difficult. God forbid you have to use Vim. May as well just pull the cord or throw it in the garbage and start over.Typically if I needed to have SSH access after an install I'll use an SSH client on my phone, and usually not the device itself. REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT SSH PASSWORDS PEOPLE!However, if you're looking for a basic - and I think that's not really doing it justice - keyboard/mouse combo with media controls, and you're working with a GUI and NOT looking for a keyboard/mouse combo for bash, programming or anything in an office/home PC setting, this is the way to go. The price is great! The device feels sturdy enough. I'm several hours in of active use and the low battery led has not come on. There is no direct way (as far as I can tell) to check the battery percentage. Nonetheless, should it get low it charges via micro USB which you probably have many of laying around. The battery case also has a small bracket to store the dongle. That's where you'll initially find the dongle when you take it out of the box. The touchpad allows for multi-touch gestures for more complicated interactions too. Overall, it's a great little device, and for this price I see no reason to hesitate. I'm trying to think of some cons to list here with my review, and honestly I just can't think of anything.

We bought this as a backup but soon became our primary
So we use these mini keyboards to operate my laptop and watch movies and shows online hooked up to our old school tv that doesn't have all the new features as flat screens do these days. The controller I originally bought and loved so much because it had a scrolling red little thing you could scroll down and up with rather than using your fingers and I Loved it! But unfortunately when I went to buy the backup they were no longer available so we looked and looked and this controller had good reviews so we bought this, crazy enough soon after our other controller no longer worked and this become our primary. It works pretty good overall however I really did like the scrolling button rather than having to use your three fingers or whatever the scroll down the page because it goes too fast sometimes but I've gotten pretty use to it by now, again the controller operators as it should, holds REALLY GOOD battery life and connects flawlessly however I will say one other part I don't like is the fact that the power key on the back of the controller is hard for someone without nails like me to push it over to turn the controller on or off, it's like a hard sliding button you push over to shut off or turn on and that is the worst part about it, I really think they should have made it easier to slide the button because it's pretty hard but luckily the controller also has an auto off feature which is really nice so I can leave the controller on and it will automatically shut off battery use until I push a button any button really, then it's back in action! So overall I give this a four out of five because the back button is hard to move and there is no built in scroll button, you have to tap on the page and then scroll down with the up and down buttons or use your fingers to slide down the page. Not as cool as a slow moving slide button like my other one! But the auto off power and Auto on is a feature that I very much like because we have literally used this for weeks now without charging!!! The yellow charge light has been on for about a week and it still hasn't died ahahaha
