Use with riding bike to work.
I bought this as a lunch box when writing my 21-speed to work. It worked great for a lunch box that fits in my backpack. I had no problems with leaks.

Nice and warm
Keeps kids lunch nice and warm. Bought two of them for my girls and they’re loving the warm home cooked meal instead of school lunch.

Really great for rice
Zojirushi is a legendary Japanese brand that is infamous for quality craftsmanship, and this bento tube-thing is no exception - It's almost perfect if you know how to use it.Firstly, understand what you're getting. I've seen some people here complain about the leaking, but it states clearly in the instructions that only the bottom container is leak-proof. The other two aren't designed to be, so don't judge them for that. The bottom container is for soups, the middle container is for rice, and the top is for anything else, like bread or sauce containers. As for size, this SL-XE20AD model here is bigger than the standard Mr. Bento, despite having less number of containers. The main difference between the two is that the rice container in this SL-XE20A is massive, and can easily hold over a full cup of rice.I've found that the vacuum insulated side walls will keep food reasonably warm for at least 4-5 hours, as long as you prime the bento by pouring very hot water inside and letting it steep for around 5 minutes. It will also keep things chilled for around 30-40 minutes without any priming.Honestly, I only have two main complaints with this bento:First, I'm an average sized adult man, and in my personal experience this model is too big for me. I thought the Mr. Bento looked too small so I went with this one, but a full cup of rice is an ungodly amount of rice to eat in one sitting for me, so most of the space goes wasted. If you seriously love rice though, then you will love this.Second, the whole bento is awkward to fit into normal fridges or backpacks, and can't really be stored on it's side. If you try it, even if nothing leaks out all the food will go tumbling around inside their containers. The strap is handy for carrying it around upright though, and the handle/chopsticks combo helps to save on waste.

Reliable Zoujirushi lunch box
Husband wanted this Zoujirushi insulated lunch box for work. Normally he has to wait in line to heat up his food in the microwave during lunch. To save time, he got this insulated lunch box to keep his food warm. He said his food stays warm until lunch and is happy with the performance. He’s a big Zoujirushi fan. It’s a popular and reliable brand in Japan and worth the price.

Dissasembled itself: update below
I was so I excited to use this. The first day took this to work with some cold soup, rice, and fruit. I took it out of my locker and the layer the latches the lid down seperated and the soup blown inside on the bottom somehow became unscrewed and the lid came off and it spilled. I have never been so disappointed with a Zojirushi product and now my lunch is ruined.Update: I recieved a replacement recently and have had no incidents with it falling appart. However I noticed the lid for the largest container is looser on this one and that leaves me concerned about quality control. That aside it is keeping my food at appropriate temperatures. I do wish that all of the containers came with some form of gasketed leak resistant lid, but it was clear that only one does. Overall ilI would say if you can get one that isnt defective its better than alot of unsulated meal containers but its still not as good as I would like.
