I loved this, I was skeptical at first that it wouldn’t help my dogs pulling or leash reactivity but after awhile it has certainly improved and he is thriving on a leash. After a couple more weeks of training hopefully we can step off this road and go back to regular collar walk. Great product, durable, easy to use, and safe!

I'm so disappointed. This collar worked great for one month and then it started breaking apart while we were on walks. My puppy could have gotten hit by a car or ran away for as many times as it happened. I had to carry her 30+ pound self for BLOCKS to ensure she got home safely because the collar broke.EDITED TO UPDATE --> The seller reached out and made it right. They offered a refund or replacement of the item. Changed star rating to reflect the good customer service. Hoping my next collar doesn't break because I really like it.

Appears to be well-made. It comes with plenty of prong protectors and is expandable or shrinkable two different sizes. It’s easy to place and works very well on thick coated dogs. It prevents her from pulling, but appears to give her no discomfort whatsoever. I have trained multiple dogs and have found that the prong collar does not need to be used forever. No reason to buy a heavy duty or expensive collar as it generally takes very little time for the dogs to catch on and stop pulling.

This collar is for my young pup who is half Doberman and half Weimaraner. 10 months old and already 60 pounds. He is very hyper and I needed this to help control him when walking. It works very well, the links are strong and nothing has broken. The clasp is also metal and easy to use.My problem with it is that the links connecting the prongs to the sliding chain of the collar have slipped from their normal positions and now are twisted and won't lie flat on my dog's neck. When it first happened on just one side, I was able to jiggle it and push it until it returned to the correct position. Now it has happened again and on both sides. Very disappointing as I was enjoying using this product.

We watched several beautiful collars get destroyed by our growing pups. We realized that they needed metal collars and considered the traditional choker collars.Instead, we bought these and were impressed with the results.It’s like the dogs have hearing aids tuned to our frequency.If you are fairly light weight and are concerned that you won’t be able to control your growing pups, this is the collar for you.It may help to wear gloves at times to train the young beasts but you’ll get them to turn whichever direction you want with just a turn of your wrist.The quick release is very stout and holds well.The extra rubber protectors should be kept because your dog might lose a few.When you aren’t training the dog and it isn’t needed, you can remove it easily.Our pups seem to be used to wearing them 24/7 and the collar thickness protects their necks from other dogs.Once your pups mature you might not need this style collar but if you need a helpful training tool which transmits your desires to your dog, this will help.Downsides? The collar is of high quality and well thought out. The chrome plating however will eventually wear off.Bottom line? These collars will provide excellent service long after the glittery finish fades.

Worked immediately on a crazy cocker spaniel. Great product. Does get tangled sometimes in the hair on his ears but have you seen Spaniel ears?! Description says how it works and it does exactly that. I highly recommend for 70 year olds being dragged all over the yard with hyper, hard to control breeds. It was this or give up my pet. No longer chasing cars or jumping at people or jerking me all over the place. Unlike other training collars he does not panic and jump and twist to get loose. I have had no problems of any sort putting on or off and neither has the dog. Only suggestion is to hang up after removing as it does get tangled on occasion and to untangle it is like trying to straighten out a knotted necklace. More affordable than a dog trainer or dog whisperer.

We have a cream French Bulldog. The collar helps a lot, but I question whether or not it's really stainless steel. It leaves black on our Frenchie's neck, and it's not easy to clean off of him. Not completely happy with this purchase. 😒

We absolutely love these collars for our dogs. The quality is incredible with no sharp edges. The functionality and training ability of them is phenomenal. They are easy to remove without harming your pet. They are adjustable which we love. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of how difficult it is to readjust them to a different size. Otherwise they are amazing and allow us to walk our dogs with ease. Would buy again!
