I bought this for my kid who left pre k that heats up food and serves them to the wild west if kindergarten with no way to reheat foods. I wanted to recreate healthier "lunchables" and so this is perfect.I debated cheaper plastic options. This was around 17 bucks when I bought but its held up for months. I love that it has a larger side for pouches and I can even fit a tube yogurt. The silicone flap side seals nicely but do remember to remove it completely when washing the box out as if you don't it can stay wet and grow mold between the silicone insert and the plastic box. It is easy to remove and reseal. I also can fit smaller snack containers inside the smaller compartment, for example a few teddy crackers, or some marshmallows as a treat. This ensures they stay fresh and dry.I have bit put loose applesauce or super drippy things in the small compartments, so I do not know if those would leak. However the jelly from the sandwich squares, or the crumbs from crackers, DO stay in their own compartment.It also fits most kids lunch boxes and shows no sign of wear. Very pleased with this purchase. My kid picked the color combo and I loved all the options.
