Good DVD box set
I was interested to see how Keanu Reeves brought John Noakes to the screen in this drama documentary. It does play around with the story for dramatic effect. Shep is no longer a collie and gets killed early on instead of being kept by the BBC. However it does faithfully follow John Noakes career as international assassin and daredevil. I wish they had had time to include his scaling of Nelson's column but maybe that will be shown in John Noakes 3 and 4.Keanu Reeves doesn't quite get the accent right and never utters the well known phrase "get down Shep" but I am happy with the accuracy of the two films.

Action from start to finish
This was my first time watching the John Wick movies, and I wish I'd bought them sooner. An action packed ride, but also has a story, so it's not just mindless action.Excellent films. And will review the 3rd on a separate review, when I've watched It.

Great buy (assuming you like the films!)
Very good price for both films in one convenient package. Not going to bother trying to review the films - much better reviewers can be found on Rotten Tomatoes, so I would suggest looking there first. To my taste, both films are slick, well made, clever and action filled, so well worth your effort viewing.Like (almost) all sequels, the first is better due to its originality, but the 2nd does delve deeper into the hidden world John Wick reenters in his quest for retribution, so if you enjoyed the first, I would recommend seeing chapter 2.

Lots Of Killings
During the last few years, I'd heard lots of good things about the John Wick series of films, so I decided to buy this box-set of the first two movies and see what all the fuss was about. Was it worth it?.. On balance... yes! The films are exciting; brutally well choreographed, with lots of killings; Keanu Reeves is a good fit for the eponymous hitman forced out of retirement following a brutal attack in his home; and the always watchable Ian McShane offers great support as Winston. Are there any downsides? Well... there are lots of killings - more than a hundred in the second chapter - and it can lead to a little killing fatigue, but, if endless scenes of Keanu dealing death to dastardly Russians and other ne'er do-wells of the criminal fraternity is up your alley., then you can do no better than buy this DVD. However, a word of warning: never kill a man's dog!
