Works really well & is compatible with the carbon fiber PD travel tripod - no complaints.

I wanted QR plates to attach to my camera that also were compatible with Peak Design strap, requiring attach points. These were inexpensive, worked and were well made. It has a d-ring to tighten the screw to your camera, which doesnt require an allen wrench, unlike the peak designs version. Works. I also got some other parts to attach to my tripod that these mount into.

I bought these mounts to work with my Canon R5 and R6ii and the tripods mount and Peak Design clip. They work perfectly. They are solid metal and attach securely. I would not spend more for the Peak Design options to do the same simple thing. Yes there are 2 per package.

I was a little worried about buying something that was not from the original company. But, I made a mistake and did not realize that the Peak device did not come with the mount plate. My bad, but it didn't cross my mind that any one would sell something at the price of Peak that lacked a key component. So...I took a chance and bought a company at much lower price to complete the kit. These worked great, fit perfectly and I appreciate that they are available.

So, overall the mounting plate is ruggedly made and is well finished. I have used other Neewer products and never had any issues so I expected the same performance from this plate. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to be pleased. The plates arrived and mounted quickly and easily to my DSLR cameras. The mounting screw has a small D ring that can be used to hand tighten and there is also an option for using a (supplied) allen wrench if you prefer. The mounting plate adapted securely to two tripods that I have; one Peak Design and one off brand. There are also holes on the four corners to attach Peak Design anchor links for using a PD camera strap. It should be noted that it is necessary to remove the anchor links when mounting on a tripod. The problem occured when I tried mounting my DSLR to my DJI RSC2 Gimbal. The fit is way too tight. Although you can get the plate onto the gimbal arm, the locking lever will not go into the locked position. So, as long as you're using Peak Design equipment and/or a compatible tripod, this plate will serve you well.

These work as needed, for a good price.

These plates are solid. They have grips so they don't scratch up your camera. They fit the peak design travel tripod without an issue. Will be buying more.

I mis-placed my PD capture clip plate and figured I would order this since it comes with 2 pieces. In a way, these are even better than the peak design plates since they can be screwed in with a flat head or your fingers (although you should rely on a tool to get the most secure connection), instead of only being able to use a hex key. In the capture clip, there is a tiny bit of wobble compared to the PD plate, but it doesn't bother me at all. It feels secure.
