SpigenTough Armor Designed for OnePlus 12 Case (2024) - Black

I’ve been using the Spigen Tough Armor case for my new OnePlus 12, and it’s everything I hoped it would be. Bought this case for my OnePlus. It's worked great! I've dropped my phone a ton of times but never got a crack. *Knocks on wood*I've had this case for over half a year and I think it's great. I haven't been using the kickstand since I stuck a cardholder on the back of it, which has its own kickstand. I'm a huge fan of this brand and don't think I'd ever leave it. With this case, you don't need a screen protector to prevent it from cracking.

Pros: It's available for a OnePlus 12, which is fairly uncommon right now. This case is solid as a brick. I feel as if it is going to give my phone early 2000's Nokia levels of durability. Unlike other reviewers, I have not had any problems with my factory-installed film-type screen protector. Unlike many other cases, the phone sits totally flat when the camera side is down, so if you're the sort of person who sometimes types out a quick response while your phone is sitting on a table or desk, it won't wobble as you do so (unless you don't get the kickstand all the way in, which I've done a couple of times).Cons: This case is as heavy as a brick. It adds notable weight and (most noticeably) width to the phone. The kickstand (as others have noted) only works with the phone in landscape, not portrait, and seems far less sturdy than the rest of the phone. It's easy to not press the stand *quite* all the way in by mistake, though I have yet to catch it on anything after doing so.

thick case makes phone easy to hold, great protection but does add some weight. Fits better then the thin TPU cases and inside edges are molded with a curve, just like the phones body

I usually rock with Incipio but couldn't find many cases for the OnePlus12. I like my case to have a two-tone appearance and offer good drop protection so I checked out the Spigen case and reviews scared me away in the beginning. Now that I got the case, it's a beautiful case with a gunmetal-like color on the back. It provides a lip for the screen and camera and I'm having no issues with buttons/cutouts or fitting it with my screen protector. It grips well and feels nice in the hand, and is not thick to me, imo. Feels better in the hand than my last Moto Edge 2021 which was bulkier (with the case on). The kickstand is a little flimsy but I didn't buy it for that. It does get a little sticky because of the moisture depending on the temperature, that's all. Highly recommend it.

This phone case is very sturdy. However, every screen protector I've applied to my OP12 has lifted on all the edges because of this phone case.
