I am very pleased with the improvement and comfort I have felt with the boards under my mattress. I was undecided whether to buy a new mattress or to try these plywood boards - I'm pleased to have saved the expense of trying a new mattress to solve a problem, which might not have given the comfort I sought.It's a relief knowing the edge covered plywood boards work for me, and I managed alone at over 80 to put them on the bed base and to slide the mattress back on top without any problems.

As my new mattress was not as firm as I really needed, my back is suffering . Bought the boards to help remedy that, as they are cheaper than buying another new mattress. They have helped a bit but not quite enough. Putting the boards in place is easy for two people but as I live alone, it was a challenge, to put it mildly. I thought the boards were rather expensive, taking into account the delivery charge on top.Will continue with them and see what transpires

Was hesitant to get this bed board initially, as was not sure what to expect or if it would help. However, took the plunge and have to say am very impressed with the bed board. I kept waking up in the mornings tired, my body was tired and achy even after sleeping for 8 hours or so, in the end I came to the conclusion that the mattress may be too soft and that I needed something firmer to sleep on.The bed board arrived in 3 pieces, so I used masking tape to hold all 3 bed boards together in place to keep them straight and to stop them sliding around on the bed frame (worked a charm). I waited a few nights before posting this review and for the past few nights I have slept really well. (Honestly, I havn't woken up as tired) Even though my mattress is quite thick, the bed board still seems to support the weight of the mattress. It fitted nicely in between my metal bed frame and under the mattress and gave it that additional firmness it needed. Very happy with this purchase.

Too expensive for what it is, but otherwise its good.You could easily DIY this if you had a local hardware store, a plank of wood cut to fit and some tape. I felt dissapointed when I recieved it thinking that I should have done this and not just been lazy. It works though, strong enough to support a large person, doesn't creek or move the matress around and can easily be moved around. Makes moving the matress and changing sheets easier too.

For years I have suffered poor nightly sleep thinking that the cause was my mattress. The real cause was the bed frame the mattress was resting on which caused my body to go in an extremely uncomfortable shape. This plywood mattress support plank resolved the mattress issue and has completely transformed the quality of my night's sleep. Some people may complain that it is too expensive to pay so much for piece of wood. However, the service the wood provides is priceless.
