Bright with accurate colors, but expensive with underwhelming adhesive backing.
In short, this light strip is expensive but it offers a good level of brightness (1700 lumens) and vibrant, accurate colors. I’m using it for indirect uplighting on a shelf in my living room so I don’t need to worry about “hotspots” or diffusing the LEDs. The ability to adjust colors and brightness through the app as well as through my numerous Echo Dots is the main selling point for me. I use Alexa routines and a Hue dimmer switch to control it, and have had no issues. That said, the adhesive backing is a bit underwhelming. It didn’t stick as securely as I expected, and I had to use additional adhesive strips to keep it in place. Also, the price is on the higher side compared to other LED strips, especially when factoring in the need for a Hue Bridge for full functionality. I have already bought into the Hue ecosystem pretty extensively so I was prepared for this but if you haven’t, it might be worth going with a cheaper alternative.Overall, it’s a high-quality product with great lighting effects, but the adhesive and cost are worth considering before purchasing.

Endless possibilities
I've been a fan of Phillips Hue for a long time. Each time I add lights or accessories, the setup process gets easier. I had to add another bridge for this room since I had maxed out the number of lights and devices on the original bridge. Setup was smooth and easy and adding each of the lights and light strips was a breeze. Once I had everything set the way I liked it, creating the scene was as simple as naming it and saving it. The price is certainly a premium but for the functionality and dependability I'll stick with Hue.

Easy to install. Easy to use
This has created a whole different vibe in my room. Love the variety of colors and that I can change the color or brightness with a simple starting to Alexa. I need more of these throughout my house

Bright of needed, soft of not. Easy to put up and connect.
These work great with the sync box. We have these in the room adjoining our living room and it gives an added distant splash of color while watching movies. It also works as a nice customizable accent light when not watching a movie. The lights in our other room were too harsh and had poor area coverage. We now use these as our only light source in that room and they can be very bright or softer, based on our preferences.

Anything from HUE is good. Pricie but good.
Hue; a bit more expensive but worth it to me.

Vibrant Colors, But Adhesion Issues Hold Them Back
I recently upgraded to Philips Hue LED light strips, and overall, I have mixed feelings about them. On the positive side, the range of color hues is simply fantastic. I love how vibrant and customizable the colors are, and being able to control them with Alexa adds a level of convenience that enhances my smart home experience. However, I’ve encountered a significant issue: the strips struggle to stay attached. I’ve used several different types of adhesion methods. Despite following the installation instructions carefully, I find myself constantly reapplying them. This is frustrating, especially since I had a cheaper off-brand product before that never fell off, even if the colors weren't as striking. In summary, while the Philips Hue light strips offer stunning colors and seamless integration with my voice assistant, the adhesion issue is a significant drawback. I would give them a 3 out of 5 stars, if i could return them I would primarily due to the installation problems. If Philips could improve this aspect, they would undoubtedly have a winning product.
