Pleasantly surprised! A+++
I bought these for my senior cat who lately has turned her nose up to even her favorite flavors and brands of cat food. I was so worried that I took her to the vet and spent $300 on blood tests, only to come to the conclusion that she just needed a diet change and some time away from the two new kitties we recently got about 3 months apart from each other. That and they gave me meds for her anxiety and possible tooth pain. I bought this brand before for one of my recently adopted kitties and decided to give it a whirl with my senior girly since I know the quality is top notch and I don’t have to worry about any gross additives. She ate all 3 flavors of the pate which I ordered 24 of each, blindly (not even knowing if she’d even like or eat it). So with that being said I went to see what other flavors we could possibly try and noticed that the pate flavors are pretty limited. Then I saw these pouches.. I figured with so many flavors even if she didn’t like some I could give it to the other two scavengers that eat anything. I started with flavors I thought she wouldn’t eat just to test it out and to my surprise she ate them with absolute pleasure! Another pleasant surprise, at least in 2 out of 3 flavors tried so far, is the texture. One thing I’m not crazy about in the pate cans is that they’re kind of jelly in consistency. My cat still eats it but it makes it harder for her to eat since she mostly just licks the food and doesn’t really take bites. The lamb and mackerel flavor had the perfect consistency, it’s like a creamy pate versus a jelly one. I did come across one that still had the jelly consistency so far but I’m hoping it’s just that one. I’ll have to update the review once we finish trying all the flavors. But really, I can only say good things about this brand of cat food. It has been a win win all across the board. I’m not worried about her not liking some flavors because again, I have two scavengers who will slurp up anything she leaves behind. The scavengers being the two kittens (one is 3 mths and other 7-8 mths old). I wish the company allowed us to purchase the pouches we specifically wanted instead of having to buy the whole array of flavors the box comes with but this’ll do for now. Hope they read these reviews for future planning. Also, maybe make them a smidge cheaper if possible. Nonetheless, a great brand that I will keep coming back to.Ok update:All flavors are a win! She ate every single one. Some she favors over others but she’ll eat any I put out for her. Even the one with beef in it which is a flavor she normally hates. Also, I’m a dumb dumb and they do sell the pouches separately if you want specific flavors, not only that but in two sizes and they’re cheaper to buy than the variety multipacks. Another thing I want to point out, which took me till a few days ago to realize, is that with the flavors that come out “jelly-like” all you have to do is smush it around with a spoon or any utensil and the consistency becomes more like a regular pâté. A lot of the pouches do have that creamy consistency but some have that other type that you need to smush around a little. Lastly, I just want to say that I love this brand of cat food! We’ve tried so many, from regular known brands like Purina and Fancy Feast to other grain-free brands like Instict and everything in between. This brand is definitely number 1 so far in quality, consistency, price, ingredients and edibility.

Wonderful Cat food!
Our old girl Trudy is going to be 19 at the end of October 2018. She's been diagnosed with the start of renal failure and the vet recommended Science Diet wet cat food for renal issues. She would NOT eat it. She wouldn't eat anything they suggested. I was making the foods they suggested, worked once. She was losing weight. So I called and said she's not eating what do I do, I need to have her eat, what nutritional facts and I looking for. She said anything with sodium at .4% per serving. There aren't allot of good choices out there. I stumbled across WeRuVa...... it's the absolute best thing ever! She's eating and loving it!! And has gained weight back and tells me when she's hungry and she'll eat all the flavors, the Pate's are the best as I think it's easier for her to eat. The food smells great and the other cats are jealous they can't have any. Give WeRuVa a try if you're furry friend is needing some good food, Trudy recommends it!UPDATE: Trudy our old gal is still loving this food and has gained some weight back thank goodness. She will eat between two to three pouches a day depending on what is going on in the house. Our other two will sneak their very best to get what she didn't finish, that itself is a job. So finally just ordered them some.... spoiled fur babies <3. Just added Trudys pic. She's a happy girl with her WeRuVa.

My picky cat loves these
I have a cat who is very picky when it comes to wet food. However, he enjoys most flavors in this pack except "the chicken and chicken liver" flavor (he generally eats chicken). But that flavor has a weird jelly-like consistency as opposed to the others. So I just mix that flavor with any of the others and he eats them. The ingredients seems relatively healthy so this is our current go-to.

My picky female loves it!
My 13 year old female cat has been losing weight at her last few vet appointments which has scared me because that's what happened right before my male cat died a few years back. She's always been a somewhat picky eater and will graze a little here and there throughout the day, but she used to be a little chubby so I knew she was eating sometime even if I didn't see her doing it. Lately though with the weight loss, I know that she's not eating as much and almost anything I put down in front of her she comes to the bowl like she's hungry, sniffs it and then immediately walks away without touching it. She's had urinary/bladder issues in the past so the vet recommended the Hill's Prescription c/d food and I've been feeding her the dry stuff for years. She doesn't seem to like the wet version of it very much. On top of the weight loss, I don't see her drinking out of her water fountain much anymore and seems to prefer water out of the tub. So, I have been searching for a wet food that she'd LOVE to eat so that I could guarantee that she's getting both calories and hydration with the hope of plumping her up a bit. I feel like I've tried every wet food under the sun. I've tried the broths with the real looking chicken in it. She'll lick the broth and leave the food behind. I've tried the gravies with the chunks/pieces in it. She'll lick the gravy and leave the pieces behind. Pates are a crap shoot. One day she'll eat it, the next day she won't. Even if she eats it she'll rarely eat enough of it for me to be satisfied she's getting enough. I found the Weruva "Stews" and also picked up some of the tins of this while I was at the pet store because I hadn't tried them with her yet. When I opened the can and looked at it, I thought there was NO WAY she was going to eat this stuff. It looks like jello. Not that cat food looks appetizing to begin with, but this stuff doesn't do it for me. :) Well, a miracle happened. I put it in a bowl and she ate it! And a lot of it! Almost all of it! I wouldn't say she scarfed it down with the energy a dog does, but seeing her sit at the bowl for more than a minute when she normally would have walked away after sniffing it or just having a few bites was such a happy feeling for me. I think I had 3 different varieties in the cans which she seemed to like all of them. I bought the pouches because I thought they might be easier to store and use and get her to try the rest of the flavors. So far, she's had two separate meals with the pouches (2 different flavors) and both times she ate almost all the food, leaving just a little bit in the bowl for her bigger brother. So far, this is a total win in my book. She's had it multiple times now (cans and pouches), different flavors and doesn't seem to be "bored" with any of them yet. Yes, it may not look appetizing but what's important is that I've found something that she'll actually eat! She's due for a follow up appointment and part of me wants to wait a bit longer to see if feeding this to her a while longer will give her any weight boost. She's a small cat and at 9 pounds isn't severely underweight, but I'd feel more comfortable if she could maintain a consistent 10 pounds. If you're on the fence and have a picky cat, please give this food a try. It might end up being your miracle food too.
