Pro Lathe Gage

As always,Edge technology keeps wowing everyone.I have purchased a few of these now,but this newest version,has an adjustable level bubble,incase your lathe is not perfectly leveled.I have also tried many different types of tool setting fixtures,but none of them work as well as this one.

Never would have believed there was a tool like this around. I have used it so many times. It is a great product, BUT IT IS A LITTLE TOO EXPENSIVE. But it does get the job done...

Gets the job done with excellent accuracy.

The shaft is .250" my chuck won't grip a shaft that small. I turned a split bushing that just slides onto the edge shaft that my chuck will grip. Just works. Very happy.

I am a hobby machinist and so I don't know how perfect the item is but it sure helps get the tool centered when facing off. I love it.

Although I hate spending money on something I can do another way, this tool proved to be worth the investment. Make setting tool height easy!

I recently purchased the tool and had a chance to handle it.The bar itself is nice and smooth. The aluminum piece is nicely machined with no sharp edges. The ball bearings have no slop in it or as its mounted on the bar. The level is adjustable but tight and will hold firm when you choose to adjust it.I havent actually used the tool. I need to level my lathe first. Just no time yet.The reason I gave this 4 stars is because it should come with a container to protect it. I know I can find something but a specific container would be nice.
