Bought 2, condition as advertised, great price
I bought 2 in Sept last year when they were $179. Both were new and was able to verify status and warranty at Solodigm's website. Great price, quick shipping, would def buy from Serverpartsdeals again. All past purchases from them have been fine in my experience.Sadly the prices are double that now...

Drives are robust and cost-effective alternatives to pricey Dell branded drives.
Purchased as alternative SSD SAS drives for a Dell Server. They are compatible on R450's and can handle either Sata or SAS interface (drives have the right notches for either). Not the fastest SSD's out there, but they work, and Dell's software does not complain, nor does VMWare.

Drive claimed new, but was used
I purchased this drive which was labeled as new, but SMART reported a ton of reads/writes to the disk. Given the drive has zero files on it and has only been formatted a single time by me, it's impossible for me to have read/written to the drive millions of times. These were likely pulled from a server farm and sold as new. I was warned, but others said the seller was trustworthy. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson. These drives have great durability ratings, so I doubt it will die soon, but it definitely wasn't new as advertised.

Ran hot, then died.
While I was formatting this for the first time, I noticed that it was running very hot. I mounted a heat sink on it and directed a fan at it, which kept it cool to the touch. Then, a day later, it went dead. My other SSDs work when plugged in to the same cable, but this one acts as if there is no drive attached. I am not going to try returning it because I peeled the label off before attaching the heat sink and I can't reasonably expect them to replace it after I modified it. So it looks like I am out of luck. I should have returned it instead of adding a heat sink. Live and learn. :(

Not New
Purchased 2 3.84 TB drives as new...but when I installed into my server, they both had over 26,000 run time hours. I realize that these drives are rated for a lot more than that, but still a great disappointment
