This Book Will Absolutely, Definitely Help Traders and Investors Become More Profitable
Similar to the famous book Market Wizards, this contains more than useful interviews with SUCCESSFUL traders and investors, many of whom became millionaires through short-term trading or long-term investing or who run funds. These interviews are much longer, more detailed, and more interesting than what you can usually find in books or magazines or even interviews but are filled with only meat. They reveal actual trading or investing strategies details (normally private) so that you can copy them, and there are often multiple methods per interviewee. I don’t know how Bodri was able to pull out this information. There are how-to details of actual trading strategies and I found countless wow-ees in these interviews. You’ll definitely find at least four or five interviews whose information will affect you forevermore – well worth the book price since you’ll make money with them. Or you'll just have fun reading these interviews because some stories, like Carach and Gray, are fascinating. Some reveal techniques that I never heard of (such as catalyst trading) which is surprising since I have tons of trading and investment books. This is not five star but six star information. The interviews include:Mike Ser and Andy Man (how to use trading coaches and their benefits)Raymond Barros (modified EWT trading and turning failure into success)Eric Hadik (cycles trading)Gareth Solowoy (using price, pattern and time synchronizations to trade)Adrian Manz (special day trading techniques that can make several hundred $ per day)Steve Hawkins (using Market Profile for trading)Mike Messier ("catalyst trading" the biotech stocks based on company announcements)Gary Drayton (trading mindfully)Tim Sykes (penny stock trading methods that made him a millionaire)Fred Carach (mining stocks and high yield stock investments - strategies nowhere in print)Preston James (weekly options trading - new and amazing!)Geoff Bysshe (ETF sector rotation strategies you probably never saw)Marvin Appel (technically trading funds without fighting the FED)Josh Hawes (futures fund management)Bill Spetrino (creating a dividend portfolio for a continuous income stream)Charles Mizrahi (Ben Graham value investing)Wesley Gray (quantitative value investing that is tested, tested, tested)The Fred Carach, Wesley Gray, and Bill Spetrino interviews were spectacular. They really knocked me away and changed my methods forever. Spetrino revealed what some should be doing with retirement in mind since he creates perennial dividend portfolios. I a also absorbed a lot of psychological trading advice from the Mike Ser, Raymond Barros and Gary Drayton interviews. Every interview had special information, and they are extensive interviews making this a really thick book.

Over a dozen winning ways to trade from traders who specialize in them
I picked this book up again after several years. I'd originally gotten it as a review copy and I forgot how useful this was. It's structured along the lines of the classic, Market Wizards, deep dive interviews with individual traders and investors. Its a great book to see over a dozen wildly different, but successful, approaches to the market. The #1 difference between this book and Market Wizards is that these are not all traders with massive funds - many, if not most, are individuals making their living from the markets. In that sense they are way more relevant to me as an individual. It's a grab bag of different approaches to the market from people who make their living from it.A few highlights opn the investing side are Charles Mizrahi's testing results of the final investing rule the legendary Benjamin Graham revealed before his death; the contrast between Tim Sykes' & Fred Carach's approaches to penny stocks,; Bill Spetrino's blue-collar dividend strategy; Wesley Gray's quantitative value investing; Mark Messier's really interesting approach to catalyst trading biotechs before their FDA announcements, and a bunch of others. There's also a cycles trader, a price/pattern/time geek, ETF sector rotation, a weekly options trader, and more. The author gets very in-depth with each trader so lots of practical insights.
